I'm not gonna lie, I love Barbie. So, when I was brainstorming a way to present spring trends, she was a natural muse. I teamed up a slew of local hair stylists with local designers and gave them each a theme: punk, romantic, casual, elegant, etc. They outdid themselves, adding touches ranging from teeny-tiny tattoos to distressed knitwear. I wanted all this hard work to go to a good cause, so we set up an online auction to sell the Barbies, with proceeds going to the Locks of Love charity. We were able to donate nearly $1,000 to the cause.
